5+ years' experience tutoring in one-on-one and small group settings. Writing published in anthologies and journals. With a BA in Creative Writing and History and an MA in Writing and English Literature, I'm passionate about learning and especially value the written word. I love to see students break through and find their 'thing', discovering their own way to formulate their thoughts and present their opinions to the world. My tutoring philosophy is to work alongside the student in a mentoring capacity, offering them skills and strategies that will equip them beyond just the current assignment or exam, providing skills they can carry forward into future study, work, and experience. I believe learning can be fun and enjoyable, and my goal is to communicate that to my students.
